BUFFALO RIFLE

 
MATCH IS USUALLY FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
 
We will fire at 200 and 300 yards. Targets will be three sizes of steel buffalo... the largest being 4 x 8 feet. Open sights, tang or period optics. no receiver sights, please. Period rifles (pre 1899) can be lever or single shot, lead bullets only. Smokeless or black powder (or subsitutes). No bench shooting. Sticks, prone or any other improvised position is OK. we'll have some things to rest on. 30 rounds for record with a sight-in period on paper if needed.
Registration at 8:30, we'll start shooting 9:30 or 10:00. $10.00 per shooter.
Hope everyone can come out! Even if you don't have a rifle, you are welcome to come as a spectator.

We also gave prize medals to the top 3 shooters. This is the obverse side. The reverse has order of finish.
